Exploration of Novel Phosphors via Single-Particle Analysis: Discovery of SrLi₃AlO₄:Eu²⁺ Exhibiting Dual Narrow Emission Bands

Using single-particle analysis, we discovered SrLi₃AlO₄:Eu²⁺ as a novel phosphor and evaluated its crystal structure and optical properties on individual particles. The isolated crystal particles exhibited dual narrow-band emissions with full widths at half maximum of 39 nm and 40 nm at 521 nm and 567 nm, respectively, demonstrating some of the narrowest emission widths in the 500–600 nm region.
