Our research focuses on understanding and designing advanced materials through computational science and engineering. By combining multi-scale simulations, continuum mechanics, machine learning, and optimization, we reveal how microstructures govern material properties and performance. We develop computer-aided engineering technologies that accelerate materials innovation and enable the efficient design of high-performance materials for automotive, aerospace, and other engineering applications.
